but that we write unto them, that they abstain themselves from filthiness of images, from fornication, from strangled, and from blood.

But I have a few things against thee: that thou hast, there, they that maintain the doctrine of Balaam, which taught in Balak to put occasion of sin before the children of Israel, that they should eat of meat dedicated unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Flee fornication. All sins that a man doth, are without the body. But he that is a fornicator, sinneth against his own body.
So that fornication, and all uncleanness or covetousness, be not once named among you, as it becometh saints:
For this is the will of God, even that ye should be holy, and that ye should abstain from fornication,
I wrote unto you in an epistle that ye should not company with fornicators. And I meant not at all of the fornicators of this world, either of the covetous, or of extortioners, either of the idolaters - for then must ye needs have gone out of the world - but now I write unto you that ye company not together. If any that is called a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or a worshipper of images, either a railer, either a drunkard, or an extortioner: with him that is such see that ye eat not.
Flee fornication. All sins that a man doth, are without the body. But he that is a fornicator, sinneth against his own body. Either, know ye not how that your bodies are the temple of the holy ghost, which is in you, whom he have of God, and how that ye are not your own? For ye are dearly bought. Therefore glorify ye God in your bodies and in your spirits, for they are God's.
Make in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
{Beth} Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? Even by ruling himself after thy word.
Lusts of youth avoid, and follow righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with them that call on the Lord with pure heart.
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers, and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which fight against the soul,
And I looked, and, lo, a lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty four thousand having his father's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the sound of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder. And I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps. These are they, which were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These follow the lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from men being the first fruits unto God and to the lamb,
but and if they cannot abstain, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn.
And the Pharisees came and asked him a question, whether it were lawful for a man to put away his wife, to prove him. And he answered and said unto them, "What did Moses bid you do?" And they said, "Moses suffered to write a testimonial of her divorcement, and to put her away."read more.

And he said unto them, "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, breaketh wedlock to her-ward. And if a woman forsake her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery."
He that breaketh wedlock with another man's wife shall die for it, because he hath broke wedlock with his neighbour's wife, and so shall she likewise.
"Ye have heard how it was said to them of old time, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery:' But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a wife lusting after her, hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
