'Captors' in the Bible
When they sin against You—for there is no one who does not sin—and You are angry with themand hand them over to the enemy,and their captors deport them to the enemy’s country—whether distant or nearby—
and when they come to their sensesin the land where they were deportedand repent and petition You in their captors’ land:“We have sinned and done wrong;we have been wicked,”
May You forgive Your peoplewho sinned against Youand all their rebellions against You,and may You give them compassionin the eyes of their captors,so that they may be compassionate to them.

He caused them to be pitiedbefore all their captors.

The nations will escort Israel and bring it to its homeland. Then the house of Israel will possess them as male and female slaves in the Lord’s land. They will make captives of their captors and will rule over their oppressors.

“On that day they shall take up a [taunting, deriding] parable against youAnd wail with a doleful and bitter song of mourning and say,‘We are completely destroyed!God exchanges the inheritance of my people;How He removes it from me!He divides our fields to the rebellious [our captors].’
