'Humble' in the Bible
All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves.
because He has looked with favoron the humble condition of His slave.Surely, from now on all generationswill call me blessed,
Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
But God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,
Now I, Paul, make a personal appeal to you by the gentleness and graciousness of Christ—I who am humble among you in person but bold toward you when absent.
He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.
The brother of humble circumstances should boast in his exaltation,
But He gives greater grace. Therefore He says:God resists the proud,but gives grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.
Now finally, all of you should be like-minded and sympathetic, should love believers, and be compassionate and humble,
In the same way, you younger men, be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, becauseGod resists the proudbut gives grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time,
