'Reigned' in the Bible

Now these [are] the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king ruled over the {Israelites}.

Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom. And the name of his city [was] Dinhabah.

And Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah from Bozrah, reigned in his place.

And Jobab died, and Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

And Husham died, and Hadad, son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the field of Moab reigned in his place. And the name of his city [was] Avith.

Ahaziah son of Ahab became king over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years.

Now Joram the son of Ahab had become king over Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah. He reigned twelve years

He was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria for six months.

Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, struck him in front of the people, killed him, and reigned in his place.

Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned {a full month} in Samaria.

Hoshea the son of Elah conspired against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and he attacked and killed him. He reigned in place of him in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Achbor reigned in his place.

When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad reigned in his place, and the name of his city [was] Pai. And the name of his wife [was] Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab.

Six were born to him in Hebron. And he reigned there seven years and six months. And he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

Beth-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susim, Beth-Biri, and Shaaraim. These [were] their cities until David reigned.

So David reigned over all Israel, and {he administered justice} and righteousness to all his people.

And it happened [that] after this Nahash the king of the {Ammonites} died, and his son reigned in his place.

And David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

And the days that he reigned over Israel [were] forty years. In Hebron he reigned seven years, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.

And he died in a good old age, full of days, wealth, and honor. And Solomon his son reigned in his place.

And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

And Solomon slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.

So King Rehoboam was strengthened in Jerusalem, and he reigned [there]. Now, Rehoboam [was] forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city where Yahweh had chosen to put his name out of all the tribes of Israel. And the name of his mother [was] Naamah the Ammonite.

And Rehoboam slept with his ancestors, and he was buried in the city of David, and Abijah his son reigned in his place.

In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah reigned over Judah.

He reigned for three years in Jerusalem. And the name of his mother [was] Micaiah the daughter of Uriel from Gibeah. Now there was war between Abijah and between Jeroboam.

And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place, and he strengthened himself against Israel.

So Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah. [He was] thirty-five years old when he began to reign. And he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother [was] Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.

And Jehoshaphat slept with his ancestors and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David, and Jehoram his son reigned in his place.

Uzziah [was] sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. And the name of his mother [was] Yecoliah of Jerusalem.

And Uzziah slept with his ancestors, and they buried him with his ancestors in the burial field which belonged to the kings, because, they said, "He [was] leprous." And Jotham his son reigned in his place.

Jotham [was] twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And the name of his mother [was] Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.

He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.

Ahaz [was] twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what is right in the eyes of Yahweh like David his ancestor.

Hezekiah became king when he [was] twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. And the name of his mother [was] Abijah the daughter of Zechariah.
