'Song' in the Bible
Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and said,“I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted;The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.
“The Lord is my strength and song,And He has become my salvation;This is my God, and I will praise Him;My father’s God, and I will extol Him.
Then Israel sang this song:“Spring up, O well! Sing to it!
“Now therefore, write this song for yourselves, and teach it to the sons of Israel; put it on their lips, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the sons of Israel.
Then it shall come about, when many evils and troubles have come upon them, that this song will testify before them as a witness (for it shall not be forgotten from the lips of their descendants); for I know their intent which they are developing today, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.”
So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the sons of Israel.
Then Moses spoke in the hearing of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until they were complete:
Then Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he, with Joshua the son of Nun.
“Awake, awake, Deborah;Awake, awake, sing a song!Arise, Barak, and take away your captives, O son of Abinoam.
and he told them to teach the sons of Judah the song of the bow; behold, it is written in the book of Jashar.
And David spoke the words of this song to the Lord in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.
Now these are those whom David appointed over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after the ark rested there.
They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they served in their office according to their order.
Then Hezekiah gave the order to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song to the Lord also began with the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David, king of Israel.
For there was a commandment from the king concerning them and a firm regulation for the song leaders day by day.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said,“I love You, O Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my strength and my shield;My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;Therefore my heart exults,And with my song I shall thank Him.

Sing to Him a new song;Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime;And His song will be with me in the night,A prayer to the God of my life.

Sing to God, sing praises to His name;Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts,Whose name is the Lord, and exult before Him.
Those who sit in the gate talk about me,And I am the song of the drunkards.
I will praise the name of God with songAnd magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Like heat in drought, You subdue the uproar of aliens;Like heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is silenced.
In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“We have a strong city;He sets up walls and ramparts for security.

And they *sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth.
And they *sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“Great and marvelous are Your works,O Lord God, the Almighty;Righteous and true are Your ways,King of the nations!
