'Spring' in the Bible
Now the angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.
Behold, I am standing by the spring, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water;
The girl was very beautiful, a virgin, and no man had had relations with her; and she went down to the spring and filled her jar and came up.

“And the Lord will continually guide you,And satisfy your desire in scorched places,And give strength to your bones;And you will be like a watered garden,And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praiseTo spring up before all the nations.
“Therefore the showers have been withheld,And there has been no spring rain.Yet you had a harlot’s forehead;You refused to be ashamed.
‘They do not say in their heart,“Let us now fear the Lord our God,Who gives rain in its season,Both the autumn rain and the spring rain,Who keeps for usThe appointed weeks of the harvest.”
In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth.
“So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord.His going forth is as certain as the dawn;And He will come to us like the rain,Like the spring rain watering the earth.”
Though he flourishes among the reeds,An east wind will come,The wind of the Lord coming up from the wilderness;And his fountain will become dryAnd his spring will be dried up;It will plunder his treasury of every precious article.
And in that dayThe mountains will drip with sweet wine,And the hills will flow with milk,And all the brooks of Judah will flow with water;And a spring will go out from the house of the LordTo water the valley of Shittim.
Does a bird fall into a trap on the ground when there is no bait in it?Does a trap spring up from the earth when it captures nothing at all?
Thus the Lord God showed me, and behold, He was forming a locust-swarm when the spring crop began to sprout. And behold, the spring crop was after the king’s mowing.
Ask rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain—The Lord who makes the storm clouds;And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.
