Idolatrous Worship And Idolatrous Objects Denounced

⁵ I will lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their idols and scatter your bones around your altars. ⁶ Wherever you live the cities will be in ruins and the high places will be desolate, so that your altars will lie in ruins and be desecrated, your idols smashed and obliterated, your incense altars cut down, and your works wiped out. ⁷ The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am Yahweh.

Isaiah 6:11

Then I said, “Until when, Lord?” And He replied:

Until cities lie in ruins without inhabitants,
houses are without people,
the land is ruined and desolate,

Zephaniah 1:2-6

I will completely sweep away everything

by the fire of His jealousy.
For He will make a complete,
yes, a horrifying end

without a person, without an inhabitant.
