Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, which was kept secret since the world began.
The secret of godliness is great and it is without controversy. 'He (Jesus Christ) was manifested (revealed) in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, and seen by angels. He preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, and received up in glory.'
I do this that they may be filled with courage and be united (knit) together in love. I have the full assurance that only true understanding brings. In this way they will accurately know God's secret, which is Christ himself.
We speak the wisdom of God in a secret, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages (generations and human entities) for our glory.
He made known to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure and purpose.
When you read this you can understand my insight into the secret of Christ.
It was God's will to make known his secret to the people of the nations, this rich and glorious secret that he has for people. The secret is that Christ is in union with you, which means that you will share in his glory.

The Spirit itself (Greek:autos ho pneuma) (itself the Spirit) bears witness with our spirit (mind and heart), that we are children of God.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed. You hanged him on a stake. God exalted him to his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. We are witnesses of these things. Who is the one who conquers (overcomes) (prevails over) the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ. Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Corruption may not inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a secret. None of the rulers of this age knew (understood) for had they known it they would not have impaled the glorious Lord (esteemed Master).

(Deuteronomy 29:4) David says, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and recompense to them. Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always. (Psalm 69:23) I ask: Did they stumble and fall? Certainly not! But rather through their fall into sin salvation has come to the nations. This will provoke them to jealousy. Now if their fall into sin means riches to the world, and their decrease means riches of the nations how much more will their full number mean? I speak to you people of the nations. For I am the apostle to the nations and I glorify (honor) (praise) (celebrate) my ministry. If by any means I may provoke those who are of my flesh (fellow countrymen), and might save some of them. Let as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and the teachings will not be blasphemed. Do not despise your believing masters, because they are brothers. Serve them, because they who partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

Jehovah has made his salvation known. He has uncovered his righteousness for the nations to see.
Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, which was kept secret since the world began. It is now made known by the Scriptures of the prophets according to the commandment of the everlasting God. It is made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.

Concerning this salvation the prophets inquired and searched diligently! They prophesied about the grace that should come to you: searching what time or what manner of time the spirit of Christ that was in them did point to, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them. God revealed to the prophets that the things they spoke were not for their own benefit but for yours. The Holy Spirit was sent from heaven to make known to you what the prophets spoke. Those who spread the good news to you did this. These are things even the angels want to look into.

The Spirit itself (Greek:autos ho pneuma) (itself the Spirit) bears witness with our spirit (mind and heart), that we are children of God.

You are my friends if you do the things that I command you. I no longer call you servants for the servant does not know what the lord does. I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you. You did not choose me. I chose you and appointed you. You should go and bear fruit and your fruit should remain. Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, that you may love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. I chose you out of the world. The world hates you because you are not of the world. Remember the word I said to you. A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they obeyed my word, they will obey yours also. They will do all these things to you for my name's sake. It is because they do not know the one that sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin. Now they have no excuse for their sin! He who hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would have no sin. They have seen and hated both my Father and me. This took place that the word written in the Law may be fulfilled: They hated me without a cause. I will send the helper from the Father, the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father to bear witness of me. You also bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed. You hanged him on a stake. God exalted him to his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. We are witnesses of these things. The Holy Spirit, which God gave to those who obey him, also witnessed.
