My righteous people will live by faith. If any of them turn back, I will not be pleased with them.
I am not ashamed of the good news; for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who exerts active faith (believes), to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. It reveals the righteousness of God from faith-to-faith for it is written: The righteous shall live by faith.
The fact that the Law justifies no man before God is evident. The righteous will live by faith.

I want to be united with him. I no longer want a righteousness of my own that is gained by obeying the law. The righteousness from God is by faith in Christ.

Proud and haughty mocker is his name. He acts with overbearing pride.
If any man teaches a different doctrine, and does not consent to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine that is according to godliness, he is proud, knows nothing, has a morbid interest in questions and disputes about words, which leads to envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, frictions between men corrupted in mind and lacking in truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.

They will rob you of your children. They will destroy your cattle, and make you so few that your roads will be deserted. If this discipline does not help and you still resist, I will resist you. I will punish you seven times for your sins. I will bring war on you to get revenge for my promise you rejected. When you gather in your cities, I will send plagues on you and you will fall under the control of your enemy. I will destroy your food supply. Ten women will need only one oven to prepare your food. You will eat and go away hungry.
