We have many things to say about him and it is hard to explain it to you, for you are dull of hearing (slow to learn). At this time you should be teachers. But you need someone to teach you again from the beginning the elementary truths from the Word of God. You need milk, not solid food. Everyone who drinks milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. read more.
But solid food belongs to mature people. It belongs to those who by reason of use have their senses trained to know the difference between good and evil.

Therefore leaving the elementary truths of the doctrine of Christ let us move on to maturity. Let us not lay again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God. We should not repeat the basic teachings about baptisms, and of the laying on of hands (setting apart for holy tasks), and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. We will do this if God permits. read more.
Those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the age to come, if they shall fall away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance. This is because they personally impale the Son of God again, and expose him to public shame. The earth that drinks in the rain that comes upon it, and brings forth vegetation for those by whom it was cultivated, receives blessing from God. That which bears thorns and briars is rejected, and is near to being cursed. It ends up being burned. Even though we speak this way, beloved, we are convinced that you will have better things, things that belong to salvation. For God is not unrighteous (unjust) to forget your work and the love you showed for his name. You ministered to the holy ones and continue to minister. We desire that every one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope down to the end. We desire that you are not lazy, but follow those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. When God made a promise to Abraham, he could swear by no one greater then himself, so he swore by himself. He said: I will surely bless you and give you many descendants. After waiting patiently, Abraham received the promise. Men swear by someone greater then themselves: and an oath for confirmation to them puts an end to the problem.

Night and day we pray exceedingly that we might see you in person, and might perfect (restore) (repair) that which is lacking in your faith.

They grow stronger as they go and they will see the God of gods on Zion.

I pray that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment. This way you may approve (test) the things that are excellent (of more value). May you be sincere and without offense (blameless) to others till the day of Christ. Be filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. (John 15:5) (Galatians 5:22, 23)

Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect. But I press on, that I may obtain that for which Christ Jesus also obtained. Brothers, I could not yet have obtained it. But one thing I do, I forget the things that are behind, and stretch forward to the things that are ahead. I press on toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. read more.
Let those of us who are mature have this attitude. If you have a different attitude God will show you how to think.

Walk worthily of God, fully pleasing him. Bear fruit in every good work, and increase in the knowledge (Greek: epignosis: full discernment, recognition) of God. God will strengthen you with all power, according to the might of his glory, to all patience and longsuffering with joy.

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. May he resolutely strengthen your hearts without blame in holiness before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his holy ones.

Put away all badness and all deception, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil talk. Like newborn infants, long for the spiritual milk that is without deception to help you grow to salvation. You have tasted that the Lord is kind.

His winnowing shovel is in his hand. He will clean his threshing floor and gather his wheat into a barn. He will then burn the husks in a fire that cannot be put out.

If your hand or your foot is a cause of stumbling cut it off. Get rid of it. It is better for you to go into life with the loss of a hand or a foot than, having two hands or two feet, to be destroyed by eternal fire.

His winnowing fork is in his hand ready to thoroughly cleanse his threshing-floor. He will gather the wheat into his barn. He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

They will return. Those who did good will have the resurrection of life. Those who did evil will receive the resurrection of judgment.

But whoever speaks evil and defames Holy Spirit will not be forgiven but is guilty of an eternal sin.

Jehovah will have a day of vengeance! He will have a year of retribution (recompense) in defense of Zion. Edom's streams will be turned to tar. Its soil will be turned to burning sulfur. Its land will become blazing tar. They will not be extinguished day or night, and smoke will always go up from them. Edom will lie in ruins for generations. No one will ever travel through it.

He that despised Moses' Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses. What about those who despise the Son of God? Those who treat as a cheap thing the blood of God's covenant that purified them from sin? Those who insult the Spirit of grace? Think how much worse the punishment they deserve will be! We know who said: Vengeance is mine; I will repay; and who also said, Jehovah will judge his people. (Deuteronomy 32:35) read more.
It is a dreadful (terrible) thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of their torment will ascend forever and ever. They who worship the beast and his image and receive the mark of his name have no rest day or night.

Again they said: Praise Jehovah. Her smoke rose up forever and ever.
