You have heard the word of the truth in Christ. It is the good news about your salvation. You also believed and were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
Peter said: You will never wash my feet. Jesus answered him: If I do not wash you; you have no part with me.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
For we have become companions (partners) with Christ if indeed we hold the beginning of our firm trust to the end.
But the two are not the same, because God's gift (spiritual endowment) is not like Adam's sin. It is true that many people died because of the sin of that one man. But God's grace is much greater, and so is his gift to so many people through the loving-kindness of the one man, Jesus Christ.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have impaled the flesh with its passions and lusts.
And there is a difference between God's gift (spiritual endowment) and the sin of one man. After the one sin, came the guilty judgment; but after so many sins, comes the undeserved gift of righteousness. It was by the transgression of the one that death ruled as king through that one. Even more so shall those who receive the abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness, rule as kings in life by the one, Jesus Christ. The result of one trespass was condemnation for all men. The result of righteousness was justification (acquittal), which brings life for all men.read more.
Through the disobedience of one man many have been made sinners. Yet through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous. The law came that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased God's loving kindness increased even more. And what for? Just as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Death came because of what one man did. The resurrection of the dead also comes because of what one man did. In Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
You were also circumcised in him with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ.
Or are you ignorant to the fact that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death. Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, that we might walk in the newness of life.
I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.
If we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be in the likeness of his resurrection. We know this that our old self was impaled with him that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer be in bondage to sin. He who has died is freed from sin.read more.
If we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.
Brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ; that you should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.
For as many of you who were baptized into Christ put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.
You have been buried with him in baptism. You were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.
He offered us his precious and exceedingly great promises. Through these you may become partakers of the divine nature. You will escape from the corruption that is in the lust-filled world.
Those he first recognized, he ordained in advance that they be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
We all, with unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of God and are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, exactly as from God's Spirit.
If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things have passed away. Behold, they have become new.
You put on the new self that is being renewed to a true knowledge (full discernment) according to the image of the one who created him.
They disciplined us for a few days for their own pleasure. He disciplines for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
I want to know him and the power of his resurrection. I want to know the fellowship of his sufferings and become conformed to his death.
Then Jesus told his disciples: If any man wants to follow me (be mine), let him deny (disown) himself, and take up his stake and follow me (Greek: akoloutheo moi, let him be following me) (accompany me) (be in the same way with me).
He then spoke to both his disciples and the crowd. He said: If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his stake and follow me.
He told them all: If any man would come after me let him deny himself. Let him take up his stake (of self-denial) daily, and follow me.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
As much as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.
If children, then heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him we may also be glorified with him.
I have given them the glory that you gave me in order that they may be one even as we are one.
God raised us up with him and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, with Christ Jesus.
It was for this he called you through our good news. This is so you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The cup of blessing we bless, is it not the sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread we break, is it not the sharing of the body of Christ? For we being many are one-bread and one-body. We are all partakers of that one bread.
These many members are one body in Christ, and every one, individually, is a member one of the other.

To the congregation of God at Corinth. To you, who are sanctified in Christ Jesus. You who are called to be holy ones, with all whom in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. He is both their Lord and ours.
In him each building fits together and grows into a holy Temple for Jehovah. (Zechariah 6:12) In Christ you are assembled together as a place for God's Spirit to dwell.
There is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all and in all.
The entire body is properly framed and fitted together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in due measure of each individual part. It makes the body increase by building itself in love.
Remain with me, and I with you. The branch cannot bear fruit by itself. It must remain on the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain with me. I am the vine and you are the branches. He that remains with me, and I with him, the same bears much fruit. You can do nothing apart from me.
Some of the branches are broken off. You, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them. Therefore you partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree with them.
not holding fast to the head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and bands, grows with the growth from God.
If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.
Please let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If Jehovah has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. If it is men, cursed are they before Jehovah. They have driven me out today so that I would have no attachment with the inheritance of Jehovah, saying: 'Go serve other gods.'
Help me see the prosperity of your chosen ones that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.
You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made with our fathers. He said to Abraham: 'All the families of the earth will be blessed in your seed.'
Now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace. This is able to build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.
Give thanks to the Father, who made us partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in the light.
When God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he confirmed it with an oath.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places through Christ.
It pleased them to do so and they are debtors for this. If the nations have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in physical things.

All the Levites who were musicians: Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, their sons, and their relatives were dressed in fine linen and stood east of the altar with cymbals, harps, and lyres. With the musicians were one hundred and twenty priests blowing trumpets. When the priests left the holy place, the trumpeters and singers praised and thanked Jehovah in unison. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other musical instruments, they sang in praise to Jehovah: He is good; his mercy (lovingkindness) endures forever. Then Jehovah's Temple was filled with a cloud.
The chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers opposite them, to give blessing and praise as ordered by David, the man of God, watch against watch.
When one member suffers all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
Brothers, if someone is caught in any kind of wrongdoing, those of you who are spiritual should set him right. But you must do it in a gentle way. And keep an eye on yourselves, so that you will not be tempted, too. Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
If there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender affection (tender mercy) and compassions, make my joy full by being of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, and of one purpose. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others more important than you.read more.
Look out for the interest of others and not only for your own personal interest.
He comforts us in all our trouble, that we may be able to comfort those who also have trouble, through the comfort with which we are comforted from God.
Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me his prisoner. Join me in suffering for the good news according to the power of God.
You were at times publicly insulted and mistreated. Other times you were ready to join those who were being treated in this way. You shared the sufferings of prisoners. When all your belongings were seized, you endured your loss gladly. This is because you knew that you possessed something much better, which would last forever.
I, John, your brother and companion in tribulation and kingdom and perseverance (patience) of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, because of the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The congregation that believed was of one heart and mind. No one claimed his or her own possessions for everything was common property.
They were very urgent in their concern for this grace and the fellowship in the ministering to the holy ones.
The proof of this ministry is that they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the good news of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men.
They should do good works and be rich in good works, that they are ready to distribute, willing to communicate.
Do not forget (neglect) to do good and to communicate (fellowship) (share), for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Working together with him we plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain (to no purpose) (in emptiness).
and for your fellowship in participation of the good news from the first day until now.
From the age of twenty-five each Levite shall perform his duties in the tent of my presence,
Bring the other Levites from your ancestor's tribe to join you and help you and your sons serve in front of the tent of the words of my promise.
David also left Obed Edom and sixty-eight of his relatives to serve there. Obed Edom Jeduthun's son and Hosah were to be gatekeepers.

If we sow spiritual seed in you, is it too much if we reap material things? If others are partakers of the right over you, should we also partake? Nevertheless we have not used this power! Do you not know that they who minister about holy things live off the things of the temple? And they who wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

We were to go to the nations and they were to go to the people who are circumcised.
You also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the good news, when I departed from Macedonia, no other congregation shared their money with me. Only you shared with me. While I was in Thessalonica you provided for my needs twice.
You cannot drink the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons. You cannot be partakers of the Jehovah's Table and of the table of demons. (Malachi 1:12)
Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and unite them with (turn them into) the members of a prostitute? God forbid!
Let no one deceive you with empty words. It is because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Do not be partakers with them.
If you have been raised together with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Think about the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth. For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.read more.
When Christ, who is our life, will be made known, then you will also be made known with him in glory. Make your members that are upon the earth dead with regard to fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (greed), which is idolatry.
The Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the good news.
If you were cut out of the olive tree that is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a garden olive tree: how much more could these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
The Scripture revealed ahead of time, that God justified the people of the nations by faith. He preached the good news beforehand to Abraham. He said: In you will all the nations be blessed. So then those who have faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
I will bless those who bless you. I will curse whoever curses you. All the people on earth will be blessed through you.
Abraham will definitely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him.
All the nations will ask me to bless them as I have blessed your descendants. This is because you obeyed my command.'
This way the blessing of Abraham might come upon the nations through Christ Jesus and we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Many nations will join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and will be my people! I will dwell in the your midst, and you will know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent me to you.
Then many people will come and say: Let us go to the mountain of Jehovah, to the House of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways so that we may live by them. The law will go out from Zion. The word of Jehovah will go out from Jerusalem.
Many nations will come. They will say: Come you people, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths! For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
Jehovah will have compassion on Jacob and again choose Israel. He will resettle them in their own country. Foreigners will join them and unite with the descendants of Jacob.
In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will come to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth. Jehovah of Hosts has blessed, saying: Blessed is Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.
Jehovah will fill them with fear for he will starve (emaciate) all the gods of the earth! Men will worship him, each one from his place, even the coastlands of the nations.
Every one that is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
