How blessed are those who observe his rules, and seek him with all their heart,

For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets what sort of person he was.

Give sincere homage! Otherwise he will be angry, and you will die because of your behavior, when his anger quickly ignites. How blessed are all who take shelter in him!



O Lord who rules over all, how blessed are those who trust in you!




You must by all means lend to him and not be upset by doing it, for because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you attempt.


But when you host an elaborate meal, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."




Yes indeed, the man who fears the Lord will be blessed in this way.


Look at Abraham, your father, and Sarah, who gave you birth. When I summoned him, he was a lone individual, but I blessed him and gave him numerous descendants.

So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the one against whom the Lord will never count sin." read more.
Is this blessedness then for the circumcision or also for the uncircumcision? For we say, "faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness."


How blessed are the people who experience these things! How blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!


Blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me."


For this reason the Lord is ready to show you mercy; he sits on his throne, ready to have compassion on you. Indeed, the Lord is a just God; all who wait for him in faith will be blessed.


By David; a well-written song. How blessed is the one whose rebellious acts are forgiven, whose sin is pardoned! How blessed is the one whose wrongdoing the Lord does not punish, in whose spirit there is no deceit.








How blessed are the people who worship you! O Lord, they experience your favor.

Certainly you reward the godly, Lord. Like a shield you protect them in your good favor.
