And there followed him great multitudes from Galilee and Decapolis, and Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond Jordan.

And when he was come down from the Mountain, great multitudes followed him.

And Jesus knowing it withdrew from thence; and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.

Then Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him,

And Jesus hearing it, withdrew thence by ship into a desert place apart: but when the people heard thereof, they followed him by land out of the cities.

And when the multitudes knew it, they followed him, and he received them and spake to them of the kingdom of God and healed them that had need of healing.

And a great multitude followed him, because they had seen the miracles which he did on the diseased.

And he arose and followed him. And as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and they followed him.

Jesus hearing these things, marvelled at him, and turning, said to the people that followed him, I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

So Jesus moved with tender compassion, touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

And Jesus said, Go; thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him in the way.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: And all the people seeing it gave praise to God.

And when Jesus passed thence, two blind men followed him, crying and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

And when he was come into the vessel, his disciples followed him.

Who also when he was in Galilee, followed him and ministered to him, and many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem.

Now Simon Peter followed Jesus, and another disciple. That disciple was known to the high priest, and went with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers. And he saith to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And straitway leaving the nets they followed him.

And when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed him.

he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were also in the vessel, mending their nets: And he called them; and immediately leaving their father Zebedee in the vessel with the hired servants, they went after him.

And as Jesus passed along from thence, he saw a man named Matthew, sitting at the receit of custom, and saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

And passing by, he saw Levi, the son of Alpheus sitting at the custom-house, and saith to him, Follow me.

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom, and said to him, Follow me. And leaving all, he rose up and followed him.

The day following he was minded to depart into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith to him, Follow me. Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip findeth Nathanael and saith to him, We have found him, whom Moses in the law and the prophets described, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Jesus saith to him, If thou desirest to be perfect, go, sell what thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.

Then Jesus looking upon him, loved him, and said to him, One thing thou lackest: Go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me, taking up thy cross.

Sell all that thou hast, and distribute to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful; for he was very rich.

And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, Suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead, but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

For it hath been declared to me of you, my brethren, by them of the family of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, every one of you saith, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you?

Then said Jesus to his disciples, If any man be willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it, and whosoever will lose his life for my sake, shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give, in exchange for his soul?

And when he had called the people to him, with his disciples also, he said to them, Whosoever is willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life, for my sake and the gospels, he shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?read more.
Or what shall a man give, in exchange for his soul?

And he said to all, if any man be willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me. For who|oever will save his life shall gose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, he shall save it: For what is a man profited, if he gain the whble world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me, and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me; And he that taketh not his cross and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life, shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall find it. He that entertaineth you, entertaineth me;

And great multitudes went with him. And he turned and said to them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross and come after me, cannot be my disciple.read more.
And which of you intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and computeth the cost, whether he hath sufficient to finish it? Lest haply after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold mock him, saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king marching to incounter another king in war, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand, to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? If not, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an embassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So every one of you, who forsaketh not all that he hath, cannot be my disciple.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily I say unto you, Unless a grain of wheat that falleth into the ground die, it remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, shall preserve it to life eternal.

And a certain scribe came and said to him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus saith to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

And as they went in the way, one said to him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. But Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests: but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but suffer me first to bid them farewell that are in my house. Jesus said to him, No man having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

From this time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.

So after he had washed their feet, he took his garments, and sitting down again, said to them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord; and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet, ye ought also to wash one another's feet.read more.
For I have given you an example, that ye also may do as I have done to you. Verily, verily I say unto you, the servant is not greater than his Lord, neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye, if ye do them. I speak not of you all:

This he said, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And having said this, he saith to him, Follow me.

And I persecuted this way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women: As likewise the high priest is my witness, and all the estate of the elders:

that after the way, which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Now the God of patience and consolation give you to think the same thing, according to Christ Jesus,

Be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.

And ye became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

For what glory is it, if when ye commit faults and are buffeted, ye take it patiently? But if when ye do well and suffer, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto are ye called; for Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye might follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:read more.
Who when he was reviled, reviled not again, when he suffered he threatened not, but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

These are they who had not been defiled with women; for they are virgins: these are they who follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were bought from among men: first-fruits to God and the Lamb.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Then answered Peter and said to him, Behold we have forsaken all, and followed thee. What shall we have therefore? Jesus said to them, Verily I say to you, that ye who have followed me, in the renovation, when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my names sake, shall receive an hundred fold, and inherit everlasting life.read more.

And Peter said to him, Lo, we have left all and followed thee. And Jesus answering said, Verily I say to you, there is none that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundred fold now in this time, houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.read more.
But many that are first shall be last, and the last first.

Then Peter said, Lo we have left all and followed thee. And he said to them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in the present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Then spake Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

If any man serve me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honour.

Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me hereafter.
