Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness, and yet died. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat of it, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever, and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.
Then spake Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
But I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go: for if I go not, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you.

And let him that thirsteth, come: let him that willeth, take the water of life freely.
