I saw the seven angels who stood before God. Seven trumpets were given to them.

After these things I saw another angel come down from heaven. He had great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory.

I saw another angel ascending from the east. He had the seal of the living God. He cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway set up on the earth with its top reaching up to heaven. He saw the angels of God going up and coming down on it.

Jesus continued: You will see the heavens opened and you will see the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
