And ye masters, do the same to them, forbearing threatening: knowing that ye yourselves also have a Master in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with Him.

Now to him that worketh the reward is not reckoned as a favor, but as a debt:
and ye masters, render to your servants justice and equity, knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

Servants, obey them that are your masters according to the flesh, with reverential fear, in the simplicity of your heart, as unto Christ: not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
Servants, be obedient in all things to your lawful masters, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in uprightness of heart, fearing God; and whatever service ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men; knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ;
Exhort servants to submit to their masters, to be obsequious in all things, not answering frowardly, not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
Let the elders, who preside well, be counted worthy of double honor, especially those that labour in preaching and teaching. For the scripture saith, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn:" and, "The workman is worthy of his hire."
But remain in the same house, eating and drinking such as they have; for the laborer is worthy of his hire.
Who ever goes a warfare at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and doth not eat of the fruit of it? or who feedeth a flock, and doth not eat of the milk of the flock? Do I speak these things as a man only? or saith not the law the same also? for it is written in the law of Moses, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn." or doth He say this indeed for our sakes? For it is certainly written for our sakes, that he, who ploweth, might plow in hope; and that he, who thresheth in hope, should partake of his hope. If we then have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we reap your carnal things?
And let him, that is instructed in the word, communicate in all good things to him that instructeth.
knowing that whatever good any one doth, he shall receive the reward of it from the Lord, whether He be a slave or free.
But when thou givest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doth: that thine alms may be in secret, and thy Father, who seeth in secret, will himself reward thee openly.
his lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant, thou hast been faithful in a few things, I will set thee over many, enter into the joy of thy lord.
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth the fruit together unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together;
As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.
For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
