Matthew 16:21-23

From that time Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders, and the chief priests, and the scribes, and be put to death, and be raised again the third day. And Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying: Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be to thee. But he turned and said to Peter: Get behind me, adversary; you are a snare to me: for you are not thinking of the things of God; but of the things of men.

The spirit is, willing, but the flesh is weak. Again, a second time, he went away, and prayed, saying: My Father, if this cup cannot pass from me, unless I drink it, thy will be done. And he came and found them sleeping again, for their eyes were heavy. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.

The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. And again he went away, and prayed, saying the same thing. And he returned, and found them sleeping again, for their eyes were heavy; and they knew not what to answer him. And he came the third time, and said to them: Sleep the remaining time, and take your rest. It is enough; the hour has come; behold, the Son of man is delivered into the hands of sinners. Arise, let us go; behold, he that delivers me up draws near.

Luke 22:40-46

And when he came to the place, he said to them: Pray, that you enter not into temptation. And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying: Father, if thou art willing that this cup should pass from me yet, not my will, but thine be done.read more.
