I give you a new command, to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you too must love one another.

This is my command to you, to keep on loving one another as I have loved you.

"What I command you to do is, to keep on loving one another.

Dearly beloved, if God has loved us so, we ought to love one another too.

His command is this, that we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and practice loving one another, just as He commanded us to do.

it is so because the message that you have heard from the beginning is this: We should love one another.

Dearly beloved, let us practice loving one another, because love originates with God, and everyone who practices loving is a child of God and knows God by experience.

Finally, you must all live in harmony, be sympathetic, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, humble,

piety with brotherly affection, brotherly affection with universal love.

Now as to brotherly love, you have no need of anyone's writing you, for you have yourselves been taught by God to love one another, as you are practicing it toward all the brothers all over Macedonia. We beg you, brothers, to continue to live better and better;

continue to hold them in the highest esteem for the sake of the work they do. Practice living at peace with one another.

For it is under His direction that the whole body is perfectly adjusted and united by every joint that furnishes its supplies; and by the proper functioning of each particular part there is brought about the growing of the body for its building up in love.

yet I prefer to appeal to you for love's sake, although I am such as I am, Paul an envoy of Christ Jesus but now a prisoner for Him too;

So I beg you in your love to reinstate him entirely.
