Dearly beloved, let us practice loving one another, because love originates with God, and everyone who practices loving is a child of God and knows God by experience. Whoever does not love has never come to know God by experience, because God is love.
May the Lord make you increase and overflow in love for one another and for all men, as my love for you does,
For the Spirit that God has given us does not impart timidity but power and love and self-control.
So we know by experience and trust the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever continues to love continues in union with God and God in union with him.

See what wonderful love the Father has bestowed on us in letting us be called God's children, and that is what we are! This is why the world does not know what we are, because it has never come to know Him.

For the commandments, "You must not commit adultery; you must not murder; you must not steal; you must not have an evil desire," and any other commandment if there is any, are summed up in this command, "You must love your neighbor as you do yourself." Love never does a wrong to one's neighbor; so love is the perfect satisfaction of the law.
For in union with Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of it counts for anything; but only faith that is spurred on to action by love.
and that Christ in His love, through your faith, may make His permanent home in your hearts. You must be deeply rooted, your foundations must be strong, so that you with all God's people may be strong enough to grasp the idea of the breadth and length, the height and depth, yes, to come at last to know the love of Christ, although it far surpasses human understanding, so that you may be filled with the perfect fullness of God.
And over all these qualities put on love, which is the tie of perfection that binds us together.
Whoever continues to love his brother is always in the light, and he is no hindrance to others.
