Therefore, I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies in living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing unto God, which is your rational worship.

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the eternal mercy of God for ever.

For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God,

But for this cause I was received unto mercy that in me first, Jesus Christ might show forth all clemency, for an example to those who should hereafter believe in him for eternal life.

Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of his grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Likewise, young people, be subject to the elders in such a manner that you are all subject to one another. Be clothed with humility of will, for God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.

But he gives greater grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

He has declared unto thee, O man, what is good and what the LORD requires of thee: only to do right judgment, and to love mercy, and to humble thyself to walk with thy God.

Thus hath the LORD of the hosts spoken, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassion each one to his brother;

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Therefore go ye and learn what this is, I will have mercy and not sacrifice, for I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy strength and with all thy understanding, and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right; do this, and thou shalt live. But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?read more.
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment and wounded him and departed, leaving him half dead. And it so happened that a certain priest came down that way; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he came near the place and looked on him, he passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was; and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two denarius and gave them to the host and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go and do thou likewise.

So speak ye and so do as those that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment without mercy shall be done unto the one that has shown no mercy; and mercy boasts against judgment.

And set us free from our debts, as we set free our debtors.

And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For if ye set men free from their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also set you free;

Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? until seven times? Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times, but, Until seventy times seven. Therefore is the kingdom of the heavens likened unto a man who is king who would take account of his slaves.read more.
And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him who owed him ten thousand talents. But he not having wherewith to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and children and all that he had, to make payment. The slave therefore fell down and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that slave was moved with compassion and loosed him and forgave him the debt. But as the same slave was leaving, he found one of his fellowslaves who owed him a hundred denarius, and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what thou owest. And his fellowslave fell down at his feet and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay the debt. So when his fellowslaves saw what was done, they were very grieved and came and declared unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked slave, I forgave thee all that debt because thou didst beseech me; was it not also expedient unto thee to have mercy on thy fellowslave even as I had mercy on thee? And his lord was wroth and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you unless from your hearts ye forgive every one his brother their trespasses.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; forgive, and ye shall be forgiven;

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother should trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he trespasses against thee seven times in a day and seven times in a day turns again to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.

So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with too much grief.

and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God has forgiven you in Christ.

forbearing one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a quarrel against another: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Let brotherly love continue.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee? or thirsty and give thee drink? When did we see thee a stranger and take thee in? or naked and clothe thee? Or when did we see thee sick or in prison and come unto thee?read more.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brothers, ye have done it unto me.

Let love be without dissimulation, abhorring that which is evil, causing you to come unto that which is good; loving one another with brotherly love, with honour preferring one another; not slothful in earnest care, but fervent in the Spirit, serving the Lord,read more.
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, constant in prayer, sharing for the needs of the saints, and given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you: bless, and do not curse. Rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep. Be unanimous among yourselves, not high minded, but accommodating the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Not repaying anyone evil for evil; procuring that which is good not only in the sight of God, but even in the sight of all men. If it can be done, as much as is possible on your part, live in peace with all men. Not defending yourselves, dearly beloved; but rather give place unto the wrath of God, for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore, if thine enemy hungers, feed him; if he thirsts, give him drink; for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, according to the mercy we have received, we fault not,

But the Lord is faithful, who shall confirm you and keep you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord regarding you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. And the Lord make your hearts upright in the charity of God and in the hope of the Christ.

Likewise, brethren, we make known unto you the grace of God bestowed on the congregations of Macedonia,

For the charity of the Christ constrains us because we judge thus: that if one died for all, then all are dead: And that he died for all that those who live should not live from now on unto themselves, but unto him who died and rose again for them. Therefore from now on we know no one according to the flesh: and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him no longer.read more.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new. And all this by God, who reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; for certainly God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and having placed in us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did exhort you by us; we beseech you in Christ's name, be ye reconciled to God.
