But seek first righteousness and his kingdom, and all these things shall be added to you.
for he put all things under his feet. But when he says that all things are put under him, it is clear that he is excepted who puts all things under him;
and whatever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the God [and] Father through him.

but as we were judged worthy by God to be intrusted with the gospel so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tries our hearts.
Now, therefore, why do you try God, to put on the necks of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we could bear?
Wherefore I will not neglect always to remind you of these things, although you have known them, and have been established in the present truth.
Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil;
and not as we hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God,
