Of a truth I say to you, that he will appoint him over all his goods. But, if that servant should say in his heart, My lord is delaying to come, and shall begin to beat the manservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; the lord of that servant will come in a day when he is not expecting him, and in an hour which he knows not, and will cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the unfaithful.
He that believes on Him is not judged; he that believes not has been judged already, because he has not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
He that believes on the Son has eternal life; but he that disbelieves the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
He said, therefore, again to them, "I go away, and ye will seek Me, and will die in your sins. Whither I go, ye cannot come."
What, then, shall we say? that gentiles who were not following after righteous obtained righteousness, but a righteousness which is of faith; but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not attain to such a law. Faithful is the saying; for, if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him; if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;
For, indeed, we have had the Gospel proclaimed to us, even as also they; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not having been mingled with faith on the part of those who heard.
But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there will be false teachers, who, indeed, will stealthily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction:
Who is the liar, but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Anti-Christ, he that denies the Father and the Son. Every one who denies the Son has not the Father either; he who confesses the Son has the Father also.
For there crept in stealthily certain men, who of old were set forth for this condemnation, ungodly men, changing the grace of our God into lasciviousness; and denying the only Master and our Lord Jesus Christ.
But, for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their part shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death."
