Young men likewise exhort to be temperate;

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why dost thou call me good? There is none good but one, that is, God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He said unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt not murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, read more.
Honour thy father and thy mother, and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man said unto him, All these things I have kept from my youth up; what do I lack? Jesus said unto him, If thou desire to be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that word, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

And as he was leaving to continue his way, there came one running, who kneeled before him and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? But he, saddened by this word, went away grieved, for he had great possessions.

And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all the time that Jehoiada, the priest, instructed him.

And now whereas my father ladened you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke; my father has chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed, saying, Come to me again the third day. And the king answered the people roughly and forsook the old men's counsel that they gave him and spoke to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke; my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? Knew ye not that it behooves me to be about my Father's business?
