Sennacherib's Invasion Of Judah

¹⁸ Sennacherib's officers shouted loudly in the Judean language to the troops who were on the wall of Jerusalem. They tried to frighten and terrify the troops so that they could capture the city. ¹⁹ They spoke of the God of Jerusalem as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, the work of men’s hands. ²⁰ King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, prayed about this and called to heaven.

2 Kings 19:18

They threw the gods from these countries into fires because these gods are not real gods. They are only wooden and stone statues made by human hands. So the Assyrians have destroyed them.
