Paul Turns To The Gentiles

⁴⁶ Paul and Barnabas became very bold, and said: It was necessary that the Word of God should first be spoken to you. But seeing you reject it you judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life! Therefore we turn to the people of the nations. ⁴⁷ For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘I have placed You as a light for the Gentiles,
That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’” ⁴⁸ And when the people of the nations heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God. As many as were receptive to eternal life believed.

He says: It is a small thing that you are my servant. You will raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore the preserved ones of Israel. I will also make you a light to the nations that my salvation will reach to the end of the earth.
