⁵ God created the heavens and stretched them out. He fashioned the earth and all that lives there. He gave life and breath to all its people. And now Jehovah God says to his servant: ⁶ “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness,
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
⁷ You will open the eyes of the blind and set free those who sit in dark prisons.

Luke 2:32

It is a light of revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.

Isaiah 49:6

He says: It is a small thing that you are my servant. You will raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore the preserved ones of Israel. I will also make you a light to the nations that my salvation will reach to the end of the earth.

Jeremiah 23:5-6
