A New Prophet Like Moses

¹⁹ I will hold accountable whoever does not listen to My words that he speaks in My name. ²⁰ But the prophet who dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods—that prophet must die.’ ²¹ You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a message the Lord has not spoken?’

Deuteronomy 13:1-5

“If a prophet or someone who has dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you,

Zechariah 13:3

If a man still prophesies, his father and his mother who bore him will say to him: You cannot remain alive because you have spoken falsely in the name of Yahweh. When he prophesies, his father and his mother who bore him will pierce him through.

1 Kings 18:19
