Exodus 18:1

Jethro's Visit

¹ Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt. ² Moses sent his wife Zipporah and her two sons to stay with Jethro. Jethro welcomed them.

Exodus 2:16

The priest of Midian had seven daughters. They came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.

Exodus 3:1

One day Moses was taking care of the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock across the desert to Sinai, the holy mountain.
