¹ “You must not spread a false report. Do not join the wicked to be a malicious witness. ² “You must not follow a crowd in wrongdoing. Do not testify in a lawsuit and go along with a crowd to pervert justice. ³ Do not show favoritism to a poor person in his lawsuit.

Exodus 23:6-7

“You must not deny justice to a poor person among you in his lawsuit.

Leviticus 19:15

“You must not act unjustly when deciding a case. Do not be partial to the poor or give preference to the rich; judge your neighbor fairly.

Deuteronomy 1:17

Do not show partiality when deciding a case; listen to small and great alike. Do not be intimidated by anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too difficult for you, and I will hear it.
