The Death Of Joseph

²³ Joseph lived long enough to see Ephraim's children and grandchildren. He also lived to see the children of Manasseh's son Machir. He welcomed them into his family. ²⁴ Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die, but God will surely take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.” ²⁵ Promise me that you will take my body with you when God leads you to that land.

Genesis 26:3

You will live there as a foreigner. I will be with you and bless you. I will keep my promise to your father Abraham by giving this land to you and your descendants.

Genesis 35:12

The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you. I will give the land to your descendants after you.

I will go to Egypt with you. I will make sure you come back again. Joseph will close your eyes when you die.

Deuteronomy 6:10
