Yahweh's Covenant With Abram

¹⁷ The sun went down and it was dark. A smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. ¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying,
“To your descendants I have given this land,

Genesis 12:7

Jehovah appeared to Abram and said: I will give this land to your offspring (seed). He built an altar there to Jehovah, who had appeared to him.
