4 Their doings, will not suffer, them to return unto their God, - for, the spirit of unchastity, is within them, and, Yahweh, have they not known.

4 Their deeds will not allow themTo return to their God.For a (E)spirit of harlotry is within them,And they (F)do not know the Lord.

4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.

4 Their actions do not allow themto return to their God,(G)for a spirit of promiscuity is among them,(H)and they do not know the Lord.(I)

5 Moreover, the (G)pride of Israel testifies against him,And Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity;(H)Judah also has stumbled with them.

10 The rulers of Judah have become as they who remove a land-mark. Upon them, will I pour out, like water, my wrath.

10 The princes of Judah have become like those who (U)move a boundary; On them I will (V)pour out My wrath (W)like water.

10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.

10 The princes of Judah are like thosewho move boundary markers;(AA)I will pour out My fury(AB) on them like water.(AC)

12 But, I, was like a moth, to Ephraim, - and like rotten wood to the house of Judah.

12 Therefore I am like a (Z)moth to EphraimAnd like rottenness to the house of Judah.

12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

12 So I am like rot to Ephraim(AE)and like decay to the house of Judah.

12 Therefore I will consume Ephraim like a moth, and the house of Judah as rottenness consumes.

13 When Ephraim, saw, his injury, and Judah his wound, then went Ephraim unto Assyria, and Judah sent unto a hostile king, - yet, he, cannot heal you, nor will the wound, remove from you.

13 When Ephraim saw his sickness,And Judah his (e)wound,Then Ephraim went to (AA)AssyriaAnd sent to (f)(AB)King Jareb. But he is (AC)unable to heal you,Or to cure you of your (g)wound.
