Benediction

¹⁹ I exhort you the more exceedingly to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. ²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, ²¹ make you perfect (mature) in every good thing. May you do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Zechariah 9:11

Hebrews 9:16-17

A will is used for a person who is dead. It becomes effective only when the person dies.

Hebrews 9:20

He said: This is the blood of the covenant that God has presented to you.

Hebrews 10:29

What about those who despise the Son of God? Those who treat as a cheap thing the blood of God's covenant that purified them from sin? Those who insult the Spirit of grace? Think how much worse the punishment they deserve will be!

1 Peter 1:21

Through him you believe in God. God raised him from the dead, and gave him glory so that your faith and hope are in God.

When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
