The Prologue To John's Gospel

¹⁷ The law came through Moses. Loving-kindness and truth came through Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him. ¹⁹ John gave his witness even as Jewish authorities sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem. They asked him: Who are you?

Matthew 11:27

All things have been delivered to me from my Father. Only the Father knows the Son, and only the Son knows the Father. The Son tells others about the Father so that they can know him too.

John 6:46

No one has seen the Father. Only he who is from God, He has seen the Father.

Colossians 1:15

He is the image (likeness) (representation) of the invisible God. He is the firstborn (Greek: prototokos: childbirth, offspring) of all creation.

1 Timothy 6:16

While the flames were going up from the altar, Manoah and his wife saw Jehovah's angel go up toward heaven in the flames. They did not see the angel again.

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man died and was buried.
