² And, accosting him, he said unto him - What is this I hear of thee? Render the account of thy stewardship, for thou canst no longer be steward. ³ And the steward said within himself - What shall I do, because my lord taketh away the stewardship from me? Dig, I cannot: to beg, I am ashamed. ⁴ I know what I will do, that, when I am removed out of the stewardship, they may welcome me into their own houses.
