⁴² And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight, your faith has made you well." ⁴³ And immediately his sight was restored and he followed Jesus, giving honor to God. And when all the people saw this, they [too] praised God.

Matthew 9:8

But when the large crowds saw [what had happened], they were filled with deep reverence and gave honor to God for giving such authority to men.

But you people are especially chosen [by God]; you are a royal body of priests; you are a nation especially set apart for God's use; you are a people who belong exclusively to God, that you may express the virtues of the One who called you out of darkness [i.e., of sin and error], and into His marvelous light [i.e., righteousness and truth].
