Jesus Talks To The Apostles

¹⁵ He said to them, Go into the entire world, and preach the good news to the whole creation. ¹⁶ He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. ¹⁷ These signs will accompany those who believe. They will cast out demons in my name. They will speak with new languages.

John 3:36

He who puts active faith in the Son has everlasting life. He who disobeys* the Son will not see life for the wrath of God remains upon him. (*Greek: apeitheo: willfully disobey, not having faith)

1 Peter 3:21

This was a symbol pointing to baptism, which now saves you. It is not the washing off of bodily dirt, but the promise made to God for a good conscience. It saves you through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
