He shall be great, and shall be called Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His father David; and He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His Kingdom there shall be no end."

And, behold, a Canaanitish woman, having come forth out of those borders, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon!"

And all the multitudes were amazed, and said, Can this be the Son of David?"

And the multitudes, who were going before Him, and those who were following, were crying, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He Who cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"

And, behold, two blind men, sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried, saying, "Lord, have mercy on us, Thou Son of David!" But the multitude rebuked them, that they should be silent. But they cried the more, "Lord, have mercy on us, Thou Son of David!"

saying, "What think ye concerning the Christ? Whose Son is He?" They say to Him, "David's."

And, hearing that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, "Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me!" And many were rebuking him, that he should be silent. But he kept crying much more, "Son of David! have mercy on me!"

And they told him, that Jesus the Nazarene was passing by.

And those going before were rebuking him, that he should be silent; but he kept crying out much more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"

It is permitted to speak to you freely concerning the patriarch David, that he both died, and was buried; and his tomb is among us till this day; being, therefore, a prophet, and knowing that with an oath God swore to him, that out of the fruit of his loins One should sit on his throne;
































But He said to them, "Did ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and those with him? how he entered into the house of God, and ate the showbread, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but only for the priests?


















































































































and, having removed him, He raised up for them David to be their king; to whom bearing testimony, He said, 'I found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.' From the seed of this one, God, according to promise, brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus;
