Some days later, Felix arrived with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish. He sent for Paul and listened to him talk about faith in Jesus the Messiah.
Which hope [of the Messiah and the resurrection] our twelve tribes [confidently] expect to realize as they serve and worship God in earnest night and day. And for this hope, O King, I am being accused by Jews!
But having obtained help of God, I continue until this day, testifying both to small and great, and saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses declared should come to pass; even that the Messiah should suffer,

For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you, since it is for the sake of the hope of Israel (the Messiah, the resurrection) that I am bound with this chain.”
He continued to preach about the kingdom of God and to teach boldly and freely about the Lord Jesus, the Messiah.

May they use his name when they formulate their blessings! May all nations consider him to be favored by God! The Lord God, the God of Israel, deserves praise! He alone accomplishes amazing things! His glorious name deserves praise forevermore! May his majestic splendor fill the whole earth! We agree! We agree!
The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone. This is the Lord's work. We consider it amazing! This is the day the Lord has brought about. We will be happy and rejoice in it. Please Lord, deliver! Please Lord, grant us success! May the one who comes in the name of the Lord be blessed! We will pronounce blessings on you in the Lord's temple. The Lord is God and he has delivered us. Tie the offering with ropes to the horns of the altar! You are my God and I will give you thanks! You are my God and I will praise you! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good and his loyal love endures!
