1 Pay attention to my prayer, God, and do not hide yourself from my appeal.
3 because of what the enemy says, and because of how the wicked pressure me, for they hurl trouble down upon me and angrily attack me.
3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
3 Because of the voice of the enemy,Because of the (F)pressure of the wicked;For they (G)bring down (c)trouble upon meAnd in anger they (H)bear a grudge against me.

10 Day and night they walk around on its walls, while wickedness and destruction are within it.

12 Indeed, it is not an enemy who insults me, or else I could bear it; it is not one who hates me who arrogantly taunts me, or else I could hide from him.
12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

20 He attacks his friends; he breaks his solemn promises to them.
20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

21 His words are as smooth as butter, but he harbors animosity in his heart. His words seem softer than oil, but they are really like sharp swords.

23 But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
