1 Give ear, O Keeper of Israel, guiding Joseph like a flock; you who have your seat on the winged ones, let your glory be seen.

1 Shepherd of Israel, listen! The one who leads Joseph like a flock, the one enthroned on the cherubim, display your glory.
5 You have given them the bread of weeping for food; for their drink you have given them sorrow in great measure.
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
5 You have fed them with the (J)bread of tears,And You have made them to drink tears in (e)large measure.
5 You fed them tears as their food, and caused them to drink a full measure of tears.
6 You make us a cause of war among our neighbours; our haters are laughing at us among themselves.
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

6 You have set us at strife against our neighbors and our enemies deride us.
14 Come back, O God of armies: from heaven let your eyes be turned to this vine, and give your mind to it,
14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
14 O God of hosts, (U)turn again now, we beseech You;(V)Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,

15 Even to the tree which was planted by your right hand, and to the branch which you made strong for yourself.
15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
15 Even the (k)(W)shoot which Your right hand has planted,And on the (l)son whom You have (m)strengthened for Yourself.
15 The root that your right hand planted, the shoot that you tended for yourself,
17 Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
