'Set Apart' in the Bible

And you shall distinguish between the clean and the unclean animal and between the unclean and the clean bird; and you shall not defile yourselves with the animal or with the bird or with anything that moves along the ground that I have set apart for you {as unclean}.

Then Moses set apart three cities {on the other side of the Jordan}, {toward the east},

[He set apart] Bezer in the wilderness in the land of the plateau of the Reubenites; Ramoth in Gilead of the Gadites, and Golan in Bashan of the Manassites.

The contribution that you shall set apart for Yahweh, its length [shall be] twenty-five thousand [cubits], and its width ten thousand [cubits].

All of the contribution, twenty-five thousand by twenty five thousand [cubits] square, you shall set apart [as] {the holy district} [along] with the property of the city.
