'Spend the Night' in the Bible
And he said, “See here, my lords, please turn aside and come into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may get up early and go on your way.” But they said, “No, we shall spend the night in the open plaza [of the city].”
and said, "Please tell me, whose daughter [are] you? Is there a place [at] the house of your father for us to spend the night?"
Then she said to him, "We have both straw and fodder in abundance, as well as a place to spend the night."
He said to them, "Spend the night here, and I will return, and I will return word to you, just as Yahweh speaks to me." So the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.
and command them: Take 12 stones from this place in the middle of the Jordan where the priests are standing, carry them with you, and set them down at the place where you spend the night.”
So the two men sat and ate and drank together; and the girl's father said to the man, "Be pleased to spend the night, and let your heart be merry."
The man got up, intending to leave, but his father-in-law urged him to spend the night there again.
And the man got up to go--he, his concubine, and his servant--but his father-in-law, the father of the young woman, said to him, "Please, the day has worn on to evening; please, spend the night, the day has drawn to a close. David pleaded [with] God on behalf of the boy and David fasted. He went to spend the night and lay upon the ground.

During the day, He was teaching in the temple complex, but in the evening He would go out and spend the night on what is called the Mount of Olives.
