but man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

Man born of woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.

Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O Jehovah, to teach him out of Your Law;

for whom Jehovah loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

For He does not afflict from His heart, nor does He grieve the sons of men;

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, "For Your sake we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep of slaughter." read more. But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us. My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into different kinds of temptations, knowing that the trying of your faith works patience.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
