Therefore, understand today that Jehovah your God is He who goes over before you. Like a consuming fire, He shall destroy them, and He shall bring them down before your face. So you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as Jehovah has said to you.
let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water.
Behold, Jehovah your God has set the land before you. Go up. Possess it, even as Jehovah, the God of your fathers has said to you. Do not fear, neither be troubled.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed. For Jehovah your God is with you in all places where you go.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him;
And we desire that each one of you show the same eagerness to the full assurance of hope to the end,
which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil,
so that we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me."
Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do to me? Jehovah is for me among those who help me; and I will see my desire on those who hate me.
I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set against me all around.
Though an army should camp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I am trusting. One thing I have desired from Jehovah, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of Jehovah, and to pray in His temple. One indeed esteems a day above another day; and another esteems every day alike. Let each one be fully assured in his own mind.
I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing by itself is common; except to him who esteems anything to be common, it is common.
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours becomes a stumbling block to those who are weak. For if anyone sees you who have knowledge sitting in an idol temple, will not the weak one's conscience be lifted up so as to eat things sacrificed to idols?
