Clubs are regarded as stubble, and it laughs at [the] short sword's rattle.

They encourage themselves [in the] evil matter. They talk of secretly laying snares. They say, "Who will see them?"

For he will deliver you from [the] snare of [the] fowler, from [the] plague of destruction.

Our soul has escaped like a bird from [the] snare of fowlers. The snare [is] broken, and we have escaped.

[Like] a roaring lion and a charging bear [is] a wicked ruler over a poor people.

Your children have fainted; they lie at [the] head of all [the] streets, like an antelope in a snare, those who are full [of] the wrath of Yahweh, the rebuke of your God.

And nations set out against him {from the surrounding provinces}, and they spread their net over him, and he was caught in their pit.
