O righteous Father! and the world knew Thee not; but I knew Thee, and these knew that Thou didst send Me;

But now, apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even a righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe; for there is no distinction;

for, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God;

for the Kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

(for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

But Jesus, answering, said to him, "Suffer it now; for thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness." Then He suffers Him.

"Happy are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness: because they shall be filled.

"Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake; because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

For I say to you that, unless your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

"Take heed that ye do not your righteousness before men, to be seen by them, otherwise at least ye have no reward with your Father Who is in Heaven.

And, having come, He will convict the world respecting sin, and righteousness, and judgment:

respecting righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye no longer behold Me;

for in it is revealed God's righteousness, from faith to faith; as it has been written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."

but, after your hardness and impenitent heart, you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.

as it has been written, "There is none righteous, no not one;

For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness."

but to him that works not, but believes on Him Who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that ye might be joined to another??o Him Who was raised from the dead??hat we might bear fruit to God.

for, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God;

But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who was made to us wisdom from God, also righteousness, and holiness, and redemption;

I do not set aside the grace of God; for, if righteousness is through law, then Christ died needlessly!

Every one who commits sin commits lawlessness also; and sin is lawlessness. And ye know that He was manifested, that He might take away sins; and in Him is no sin. read more. Every one that is abiding in Him sins not; whosoever sins has not seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

And it was given to her that she should clothe herself in fine linen, bright, pure; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
