15 Bible Verses about Justification By Faith

For we hold that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Where then is our boasting? It is excluded. On what law? On the law of works? No, but on the law of faith.

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.

So the law was our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all his descendantsnot only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, for he is the father of us all

But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man's trespass many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the free gift is not like the effect of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the gift following many trespasses brings justification. For if, by the one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.)

I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing."
