and Johanan fathered Azariah, who served as priest in the Temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

The LORD sent Jehozadak, Judah, and Jerusalem into exile, using Nebuchadnezzar to do it.

But while he was living in Jerusalem, David married more wives and fathered more sons and daughters.

David looked up and saw the angel of the LORD standing between earth and heaven, with a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.
