And a third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD.

Now all the work of Solomon was accomplished unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.

And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.

Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram who was over the forced labor; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, so that he died. But king Rehoboam made haste to get himself up into his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
